What is a condo hotel?
Ownership of a condo located within the walls of a hotel. The condo
units need not be attached to the land, except by easements for
access and support. For example, a unit on the Third floor is not
attached to the land. It is "air space" within the building,
accessed by stairs or an elevator. When the owner is not
in-residence the unit may be placed into the rental pool. The hotel
would then manage all the rentals for that unit. These units come
fully furnished down to the silverware.
